Lead Contract Specialist

About the Role:

  • Oversee the development, negotiation, and management of supplier contracts in alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Create and execute various contractual documents including amendments, MOUs, LOIs, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service levels in collaboration with Legal and Category Managers.
  • Strategically manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations to meet business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, resolve disputes, and manage price adjustments.
  • Track and realize commercial benefits such as rebates and discounts with Finance and Category Managers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams to align procurement strategies with project goals.

This role will have a significant impact on supplier partnerships, driving real commercial results and ensuring every agreement delivers value, mitigates risk, and aligns with strategic objectives. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building abilities, as well as exceptional organizational skills to manage competing priorities.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Law, Business Management, or a related field is required.
  • Extensive experience in contract management within procurement or commercial environments is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts from initiation through to renewal or close-out is necessary.
