Procurement Contract Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Contract Specialist to lead the development, negotiation, and management of supplier contracts. This role will be responsible for drafting and executing contractual documents, negotiating favourable terms, and managing contract renewals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, negotiation, and management of supplier contracts in line with procurement strategies.
  • Draft and execute contractual documents including variations, MOUs, LOIs, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Negotiate favourable terms, pricing, and service levels in collaboration with Legal and Category Managers.
  • Manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations strategically and on time.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, resolve disputes, and manage price adjustments.
  • Track and realise commercial benefits such as rebates and discounts with Finance and Category Managers.
  • Align procurement strategies with project goals through close collaboration with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Law, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in contract management within procurement or commercial environments.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts from initiation through to renewal or close-out.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
