Clinical Nurse Consultant, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol-related care to the residents of Central Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health assessment and diversion or referral for people appearing before the Magistrates' court or detained in the local watch house.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with mental illness.
- Provide education and support to individuals, families, and carers to promote mental health and wellbeing.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current annual nursing practicing certificate Division one.
- Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016.
