We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant, Psychologist, OT or SW to join our team at Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. As a key member of our Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, you will play a critical role in providing specialist care to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mental health assessments and provide diversion or referral services for individuals appearing before the Magistrates' court or detained in the local watch house.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to individuals, families, and carers to promote mental health and wellbeing.
- Hold a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration with the appropriate registration authority.
- Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
