Job Summary:
The State of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in a community-facing role. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing quality urgent, same-day healthcare services for minor injuries and illnesses to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred, efficient patient care underpinned by evidence-based practices.
- Support local primary care services to meet the demands of the community.
- Empower patients on their personal health journey.
- Identify opportunities to build capacity to address consumer expectations.
- Cultivate innovation, drive results, and support the State of Queensland's vision and purpose.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and current annual practicing certificate.
- Previous experience working in an emergency care, minor injury or illness clinic or community settings, paediatrics, or child health or as an autonomous practitioner will be well regarded.
