Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team at The State Of Queensland. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our community, focusing on minor injuries and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent, same-day healthcare services for minor injuries and illnesses to the community.
- Deliver person-centered, efficient patient care underpinned by evidence-based practices.
- Support local primary care services to meet the demands of the community.
- Empower patients on their personal health journey.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and current annual practicing certificate.
- Previous experience working in an emergency care, minor injury or illness clinic or community settings, paediatrics, or child health or as an autonomous practitioner will be well regarded.
- Identifies opportunities to build capacity to address consumer expectations, undertakes self-reflection, considers ambiguity, and modifies behavior to address risk, crises, and change while exhibiting confidence and a positive attitude proactively and constructively.
- Collaborates effectively to gain trust, foster team interaction, maximize support, and acknowledge the contribution of others, considers strategies to support career progression within a culture of development where differences are valued and supported.
