The Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join our team as a Court Liaison Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health assessment and diversion or referral for individuals appearing before the Magistrates' court or detained in the local watch house.
- Facilitate access to appropriate mental health treatment, referral, or advice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to individuals, families, and carers to promote mental health and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve mental health services.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current annual nursing practicing certificate Division one.
- Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016.
- Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 p.a.
- Hourly rate between $72.58 p.h.
