Role Purpose
As the ANZ Sales Manager for Modern Work, you will inspire and lead a team of sales specialists committed to helping customers maximize their potential with Microsoft solutions. This position offers you the chance to mentor your team in building strategic relationships, delivering innovative solutions, and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty within the Modern Work Solution Area. You will also have opportunities for personal growth by learning from senior leaders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and expanding your professional network. This role will challenge you to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment, achieve ambitious objectives, and create a positive impact for our customers, our organization, and yourself.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management within a SaaS or similar organization. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field along with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous sales management experience in a SaaS or similar organization is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Sales Excellence
  • You will lead your team in identifying and tracking new opportunities, bringing impactful industry insights into customer engagements, and leading cross-organizational teams on strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value.
  • You will establish long-term customer satisfaction strategies, guide your team in whitespace analysis, and participate in regular strategic planning for your assigned territory, reviewing plans through ROB meetings and aligning team objectives across departments.
  • You will ensure your teams meet sales targets and operational standards while maintaining the health of metrics within the assigned territory, mentoring and coaching your team to enhance their knowledge of sales or products and ensuring they complete necessary training and obtain required certifications.
  • You will build and transform new markets, participate in planning, guide teams in identifying potential business within the assigned territory, oversee end-to-end business operations across ANZ, and complete required training while obtaining relevant product and role certifications aligned with your responsibilities.
  • You will lead your team in developing strategies for driving and closing opportunities, guiding them in effective communication with customers to understand their business needs and facilitating customer interactions to assess those needs.

  • You will coach your team to learn and apply the orchestration model, guiding them in building a network of partners for cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • You will act as a thought leader, helping your team connect Microsoft solutions to tangible customer business impacts.
  • You will engage with Core leadership and senior-level stakeholders to secure support for your team and the ANZ area.

  • You will mentor your team on business and market knowledge, acting as a thought leader to assist them in connecting Microsoft solutions to customer business impacts.
