Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

The successful candidate will have a professional background in Rehabilitation Counselling and be interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector. You will enjoy a diverse role, working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case management, including caseloads that are manageable and supported by Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees;
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Assisting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Conducting assessments across Initial Assessments, Worksite Assessments & Vocational Assessments to support clients in their return to health, work & life goals.

Requirements:

  • Professional background in Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • Interest in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day.
