Key Role in Occupational Rehabilitation

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team in Albury, NSW.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational rehabilitation principles and practices. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.

Your duties will include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine clients' fitness for work;
  • Developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans;
  • Collaborating with employers and employees to identify and address workplace hazards;
  • Providing education and training on injury prevention and workplace health and safety;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to relevant authorities as required;
  • Participating in professional development and staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

This is a diverse role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Candidates must have a tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, be a full ASORC Member, and have previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector.
