Job Title: Director People

At HelloFresh Australia, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way people eat. As our Director of People and Culture, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead our people functions across the HelloFresh Group ANZ. As Director of People and Culture, you'll be responsible for delivering our P&C strategy and global harmonisation initiatives. You'll work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement programs, projects, and initiatives that drive business outcomes and enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate with autonomy to deliver people initiatives, projects, and global harmonisation projects
  • Lead, grow, develop, and mentor our P&C teams, including supporting global team members with local reporting responsibilities
  • Implement our People and Culture strategy, ensuring alignment to organisational objectives
  • Partner with leaders across the business to enhance the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Assist with organisational design, culture programs to enable organisational outcomes
  • Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end employee lifecycle stages and administrative activities
  • Delivery of all employee engagement initiatives, including conducting data analysis and implementing cultural initiatives
  • Delivery of people development and coaching programs from an employee growth and capability perspective
  • Responsible for the delivery of the EX and onsite employee campus experiences and events
  • Lead on the execution of all brands payroll activities, reporting, and compliance
  • Foster a workplace culture of accountability and performance, leading with integrity and empathy
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all elements of the employment lifecycle
  • Support and coach members leaders across the business and be a point of escalation on people topics
  • Provide support and advice to people leaders on employee relations, performance management, development plans, terminations, and interpretation of industrial instruments
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources leadership positions, with a depth of experience in Human Resources, employee comp & benefits, EVP, and people systems
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues and experience guiding leaders
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and ANZ employment regulations
  • Experience within FMCG/manufacturing industries highly desirable
  • Experience with visa processes and laws
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influence skills
  • Have a successful track record in change management from a multi-site perspective
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to partner with business leaders to build high-functioning teams
