About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People and Culture to join our team at the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce and driving excellence in people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic workforce plans to achieve business objectives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on human resources matters
  • Oversee the management of employee relations, including industrial relations, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and to improve workforce productivity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address workforce challenges and opportunities

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior human resources role, preferably in a healthcare or public sector organization
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
