Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in supervising kitchen chefs, cooks, and stewarding teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage food preparation and production to create innovative dishes that exceed guest expectations.
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques meet set guidelines and maintain the highest standard of hygiene.
  • Drive training and growth of kitchen team members and lead by example during service periods.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs and restaurant leads to design menus for special offerings, targeting both in-house and local community guests.
Requirements
  • Current experience as a highly skilled Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a hotel setting.
  • Confident leadership skills with adaptability in fast-paced kitchen environments.
  • Creativity and passion for elevating guest dining experiences.
  • Relevant trade and food safety qualifications.
  • Sound knowledge of food trends, HACCP standards, and procedures.
  • Ability to work on rotating rosters including weekends and public holidays.
