Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing guest service, team performance and development, and service enhancements.
Responsibilities:- Assist the Restaurant Executive Chef to manage service, team performance and development
- Oversee the kitchen by supervising and leading by example
- Train and coach junior chefs; guide employees to perform kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards by conducting daily monitoring and walkthroughs of the back of house
- Rostering, ordering, training, and related duties
- Jr Sous Chef / Sous Chef experience ideally with Japanese cuisine
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
