About The RoleThis Disability Support Professional role at Everyday Independence offers you the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, collaborating with experts in the field to enable participants to develop greater independence and work towards reaching their full potential.
You will be responsible for implementing therapy plans provided by primary therapists. Sessions will vary depending on the participant and their individual goals, as outlined in the therapy plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Support NDIS participants in Maitland and surrounding areas.
- Work at participant's home or a community location (you will be required to drive to/from sessions).
- Support participants across all ages and stages of life.
- Be studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year)
- OR Have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification, with demonstrated experience in a similar position (for example, Allied Health Assistant, disability support worker, education support assistant, etc)
To be successful in this role, you'll also need to have consistent and ongoing availability to work, Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm, and be available minimum two (2) days a week to support participants during their afternoon routines (3:30pm – 6:30pm).
A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum is offered, depending on qualifications and experience.
