About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Marketing Executive to join our team at Brown-Forman. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing channel marketing strategies that drive sales growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams and activation agencies to create innovative and effective channel marketing campaigns.
  • Manage end-to-end channel marketing activities, including briefing, POS creation, and budget management.
  • Develop and execute a rolling 12-month activation plan for key brands and customers to drive growth across the portfolio.
  • Drive alignment between brand marketing and sales teams to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen ideas, processes, and plans.
  • Build successful customer relationships and partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Ensure a commercially focused approach to resource allocation and investment of activation plans.
  • Be a solutions-focused, creative thinker, and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role in FMCG, marketing, or the liquor industry for 5+ years.
  • Previous experience working with national customers or retailers.
  • Shopper understanding - understand shopper behavior, category trends, and insights that turn shoppers into buyers of our brands.
  • Customer understanding - understand customer needs and be able to translate these into mechanics and programs that have a 3-way win - for Brown-Forman, our customers, and consumers.
  • Agency management - be able to brief, inspire, and engage agencies to produce best-in-class activations.
  • Project & budget management - able to manage multiple projects to clear timelines delivered on time in full within budget.
  • Commercially astute - set activation critical metrics for all shopper marketing activation to determine the return on investment.
  • Communication - strong cross-functional skills and the ability to engage and influence.
