About the Role

We are seeking a talented Marketing Activation Specialist to join our team at Brown-Forman. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to drive business growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with activation agencies and sales teams to create outstanding execution of our brands.
  • Manage end-to-end BTL activity, from briefing to budget management, to ensure brilliant execution in store.
  • Develop and manage a rolling 12-month activation plan for our key brands and customers to drive growth across the portfolio.
  • Drive alignment between Brand Marketing and Sales teams to ensure a commercially focused approach to resource allocation and investment of activation plans.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen ideas, processes, and plans, and build successful customer relationships and partnerships.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role in FMCG, marketing, or the liquor industry for 5+ years.
  • Previous experience working with national customers or retailers.
  • Strong shopper understanding, including category trends and insights that turn shoppers into buyers of our brands.
  • Customer understanding, including the ability to translate customer needs into mechanics and programs that have a 3-way win for Brown-Forman, our customers, and consumers.
  • Agency management skills, including the ability to brief, inspire, and engage agencies to produce best-in-class activations.
  • Project and budget management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects to clear timelines, delivered on time, in full, and within budget.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to set activation critical metrics for all shopper marketing activation to determine the return on investment.
  • Strong cross-functional skills and the ability to engage and influence.
