This role involves working under the direction of a senior manager to implement safety interface coordination and manage enquiries from regulatory bodies. The goal is to ensure compliance with rail safety laws and regulations.
We are seeking a skilled professional who can assist in implementing improvements to current Safety Interface Agreements, review and update the safety management system, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to improve safety interface agreements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve key safety and risk issues.
- Maintain accurate records of safety interface agreements and updates.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of safety interface coordination efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose changes as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Business or equivalent field.
- Relevant work experience in rail safety or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of rail safety laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
