Job Title: Work, Health and Safety

About the Role:

We are expanding a high-grade operation in regional NSW with a 10+ year mine life. The role is to lead health, safety, and environmental strategy during our transformative development phase.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site-wide HSE systems aligned with regulatory standards
  • Drive risk management, incident response, and proactive safety culture
  • Oversee training programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Mentor teams and embed safety as a core operational value

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in HSE leadership (mining/construction/heavy industry)
  • Diploma/Degree in OHS/Environmental Science or related field
  • Expertise in NSW legislation, incident investigation, and risk management
  • Proven ability to implement Safety Management Systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and training skills
