Job Title: Commodities Broker
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled commodities broker to join our team. As a commodities broker, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing market intelligence.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities in the agricultural, soft commodities, and biofuels markets.
Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of the products and markets in which we participate.
Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments to stay ahead of competitors.
Assist in the development and dissemination of market intelligence and analysis to support senior brokers.
Gain full operational knowledge and understanding of the trade lifecycle.
Understand the company's business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products, and clients.
Assist in the on-boarding of new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding team.
Leverage both product and client understanding to identify internal cross-selling opportunities.
Ensure all market communication is on recorded mediums approved by the company.
Understand pertinent regulation within the evolving regulatory landscape.
Requirements:
