Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned health, safety, and environmental professional to lead our transformative development phase. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing site-wide HSE systems aligned with regulatory and compliance standards.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic organization and contribute to the delivery of a high-grade operation in regional NSW. You will have the chance to work on a project with a 10+ year mine life, A$500M+ NPV, and first production in 2025. The target is to produce 80-90,000oz AuEq annually.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site-wide HSE systems aligned with regulatory/compliance standards.
  • Drive risk management, incident response, and proactive safety culture.
  • Oversee training programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor teams and embed safety as a core operational value.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in HSE leadership (mining/construction/heavy industry).
  • Diploma/Degree in OHS/Environmental Science or related field.
  • Expertise in NSW legislation, incident investigation (ICAM), and risk management.
  • Proven ability to implement Safety Management Systems.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and training skills.
