Database Administrator Role

We are seeking a seasoned database administrator to manage and maintain large-scale SQL Server environments.

  • Managing SQL Server environments (2016-2022) across multiple locations
  • Implementing Always-On High Availability solutions and disaster recovery strategies
  • Collaborating with development teams to provision masked, production-like datasets
  • Automating recurring DBA tasks and developing tools for operational efficiency
  • Supporting migration and modernisation projects aligned with our data strategy
  • Providing Level 2 database support and incident resolution following ITIL methodologies

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills combined with excellent communication abilities. They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced environment and thrive in a dynamic setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Database administration and maintenance
  • Performance optimisation and troubleshooting
  • High availability and disaster recovery planning
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Incident resolution and problem-solving
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in SQL Server DBA role
  • Strong technical skills in SQL Server 2016-2022 environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
