Commercial Transformation Lead

We are seeking an accomplished commercial professional to drive financial and operational performance within our Australian business.

The successful candidate will partner with the General Manager to lead our Commercial, Finance, Pricing & Procurement functions and drive financial and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing leadership, with experience in budget control, cost optimisation and business transformation. They will have advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Suite and financial modelling, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

In this significant role, you will:

  • Partner with the GM to drive strategic decisions and financial performance
  • Lead our full financial function ensuring controls are in place
  • Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
  • Create business cases for growth and capital initiatives
  • Execute business strategy; monitor industry trends and market dynamics for strategic relevance and opportunities
  • Communicate financial KPIs to enhance business understanding and decisions
  • Implement best practices in financial governance, contract risk management, and compliance
  • Mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
