Job Description:

The Director of Commercial Manufacturing will be responsible for leading the transition from a clinical-stage organization to an effective commercial manufacturing organization. They will oversee the development and implementation of strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the manufacturing team to achieve business objectives and drive growth through process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet customer demand and expand into new markets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize projects that align with business goals
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize manufacturing operations
  • Maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance in accordance with industry best practices

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Engineering preferred
  • Senior-level line management experience leading other leaders required
  • Proven track record of creating business results through process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Deep technical, operational, and regulatory expertise in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
