Senior Manufacturing Director

The Senior Manufacturing Director will lead the transition from a clinical-stage organization to a commercial manufacturing entity. This key partner will develop a best-in-class manufacturing team that collaborates with cross-functional teams to enable global product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Manufacturing Team: Provide strategic leadership aligned with organizational values, resulting in a high-performing organization.
  • Contribute to Strategic Leadership: Act as a strong team player to support late-stage programs.
  • Participate in Sales and Operations Planning: Represent the Product Development and Manufacturing function.
  • Create Synergy and Knowledge Sharing: Enable optimal production planning processes to balance supply/demand risks.
  • Manage Global Supply Chain: Foster supplier relationships to drive excellence using metrics.
  • Craft Commercial Supply Contracts: Focus on life cycle extension programs.
  • Develop Demand/Supply Planning Tools: Create necessary tools for end-to-end demand/supply planning.
  • Provide Strategic Direction: Guide late-stage programs from BLA-enabling studies through BLA submission, commercial launch, and sustaining operations.
  • Manage Department Budgets: Ensure fiscal responsibility for manufacturing operations.
  • Develop Operational Processes: Support supplier metrics and other tools for continuous improvement/process excellence.
