As a Field Operations Officer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of Optic Fibre cables on the Inter City Fibre Network (ICF) project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rod, Rope & Hauling
  • Civil activities
  • Labouring duties

This role requires working in remote locations across regional NSW. You will need to haul multiple cables by hand and machinery, perform quality checks, and participate in civil activities such as repair blockages, operating plant and equipment, and excavation using hand and mechanical methods.

Requirements:
  • Current driver's licence
  • Current Construction White card

Having any of the following tickets is beneficial but not essential:

  • Current HR Heavy Rigid truck license
  • Operator & VOC Excavator
  • Operator & VOC Dozer
  • Pit, Pipe & Cable Hauling course
  • Current senior first aid certificate
  • Level 2 traffic management implementation coarse
  • Work safety at heights
  • Asbestos awareness certificate
  • High Risk License
  • Vehicle loading crane
