Senior Insurance Counsel

Due to rapid growth, we have an exclusive role available for a Commercial Insurance Lawyer to join our team in Sydney or Newcastle. This position offers a diverse portfolio of insurance products and the opportunity to provide soft landings for clients.
We are looking for a 3-5 year qualified Commercial Insurance Lawyer who would like to transition into an in-house role. Ideally, you will have knowledge of insurance regulations and commercial transactions within the insurance industry.
Your New Role- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, Product Disclosure Statements, and Target Market Determination while ensuring regulatory compliance within the insurance industry.
You will be part of a small team of four lawyers, including yourself, and will work closely with the Head of Legal at this cross-Tasman multi-line insurance brokerage.
