Located in the picturesque suburb of Warabrook, Newcastle, our facility offers a supportive and caring environment for residents. We provide a range of services, including respite, palliative, and dementia care.

Role Overview

The Senior Activities Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and delivering engaging social, recreational, and cultural activities. This includes mental health and wellbeing programs that promote independence and choice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programs tailored to individual residents' needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences
  • Work closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless delivery of activities
  • Maintain accurate records of activity participation and feedback
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification such as Cert IV in Leisure & Health is essential
  • Previous experience in an aged care setting, along with understanding of work health and safety practices, will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff

Salary Estimate

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and location factors.
