Star HR, a leading provider of specialist psychology rehabilitation services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Psychologist to join their dedicated Newcastle team.
About the Role
This role offers a diverse and empowering opportunity for a qualified psychologist to provide return-to-work services in various corporate health schemes. You will work closely with a collaborative and expert team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to clients with workplace sustained psychological injuries or non-workplace related psychological illnesses.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a generous salary package of approximately $120,000 per annum, including paid parental leave, birthday leave, and a bonus system. Additionally, you will receive flexible working arrangements, travel and toll reimbursement, a 'Go Get Car' card, professional meeting sites, a laptop, and phone.
Job Description
- Conduct assessments and develop individual rehabilitation plans to assist clients in returning to work.
- Provide positive psychology strategies that are evidence-based and cutting-edge to achieve the best outcome for clients.
- Engage and establish rapport with professional clients, building their resilience through clinical counseling to aid their vocational journey.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including Vocational Assessment experts, Employment Consultants, and other healthcare specialists, to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology (full registration or provisional) or Rehabilitation Counselling (Membership with RCAA or ASORC).
- Excellent communication, time management, and written skills.
- A passion for providing quality and client-centered rehabilitation services.
- Experience in workplace rehabilitation.
