Compensation Package
As a skilled professional in vocational rehabilitation, you will enjoy a competitive salary of approximately $100,000 per annum (20% higher than the market rate), complemented by performance bonuses that recognize your contributions. You will also have access to professional development opportunities, including a CPD allowance, as well as benefits like phone, laptop, and gym facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and psychological conditions, evaluating their capacity to return to work. Develop tailored rehabilitation plans to enhance clients' functional abilities and vocational readiness. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, employers, and insurers to coordinate rehabilitation efforts and achieve optimal outcomes. Provide vocational counseling and job placement assistance to facilitate clients' successful return to work.
Your Expertise and Qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field is essential. Relevant certification or licensure in rehabilitation counseling or a related discipline is also required. Proven experience in vocational rehabilitation, preferably within a clinic-based setting, is highly valued. Strong understanding of physical and psychological barriers to employment and return-to-work strategies is crucial. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills are necessary for success in this role.
