About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Lead Creative Director to lead our innovative Production Studio, driving creative excellence and operational efficiency. As a key member of our Canva Creative team, you will oversee the entire production slate, managing high-profile campaigns and innovating production processes to deliver world-class content.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a powerhouse Production Studio team of 50 creative professionals to deliver impactful, engaging content across various platforms.
  • Oversee the entire production slate, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution during high-volume periods.
  • Innovate production processes and workflows, elevating craft and quality in all creative outputs.
  • Mentor and coach senior team members, fostering growth, creativity, and a collaborative team culture.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in creative production, with at least 5 years leading teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop leaders, coaching 3-4 team members.
  • Experience in managing change, rallying teams around new directions, and ensuring successful adoption of processes or strategies.
  • Adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments, working assertively yet collaboratively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Possess a positive, solutions-focused mindset to challenges, inspiring teams to deliver their best work.
