We are seeking an experienced Civil Infrastructure Estimating Director to join our team at Turner & Townsend in Perth. This is a full-time role with a salary range of $175K-$240 per year.

About the Role

As a Civil Infrastructure Estimating Director, you will lead cost management teams and ensure the delivery of all accountabilities. You will liaise with clients and other consultants at all project stages, develop cost estimates from drawings and specifications, and meet and negotiate costs with contractors.

You will use appropriate estimating tools, produce monthly post-contract cost reports, and present them to clients. Additionally, you will provide input into value engineering, negotiate and approve final accounts, identify improvements for cost management procedures, and refer ideas to appropriate line managers.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the infrastructure construction industry, particularly in Rail, Light Rail, Bus, and Transportation Civil Construction. They will possess computer-based estimating software experience, expert knowledge of all methods of construction procurement, and expertise gained within several industry sectors.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in cost estimating, specifically on the delivery side.
  • Hold relevant cost management/estimating credentials, e.g., AACE, ASPE, RICS.
  • Experience leading multiple estimating teams simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of all civils, structural, and architectural systems.
