Regional Field Service Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Field Service Manager to join our team in Welshpool, contributing to the success of our customers in the mining sector.

About the Role:

This position involves overseeing the effective and efficient operations of the Service team, ensuring policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Plan, organize, and lead the placement of Service Technicians within the allocated region, taking into account skill sets, location, and hours worked.
  • Safety Management: Ensure all tasks on-site or in the workshop are performed safely, adhering to Critical Risk Standards and demonstrating a commitment to working safely at all times.
  • Investigations and Corrective Actions: Conduct regular Toolbox Talks to communicate potential safety improvements, alerts, and review incidents and their outcomes and actions.
  • Talent Development: Manage the selection of new/replacement Service Technicians, ensuring qualified applicants who will contribute well to overall team performance.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain a 'customer-centric' focus, managing client relationship issues, providing solutions to customers' needs, and liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Booking Management: Manage bookings of breakdowns, installations, and service visits, scheduling regular client visits to develop and maintain close relationships.
  • Career Development: Continuously include coaching as part of your leadership style, ensuring the ongoing technical and professional development of direct reports.

About You:

  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience supervising a site service team within the mining sector and using an ERP system, preferably Epicor.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated Industry and Product knowledge of mineral processing in the mining Sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work with customers, contractors, and other personnel daily.
  • Organizational Abilities: Ability to plan and work effectively and efficiently with minimum supervision, set priorities for own personal goals, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Australian Working Rights: Unrestricted Australian Working rights at the time of application.
