The Role

As an Inventory Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes. This is a permanent position working afternoon shift Monday to Friday, 11am – 7pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and meet customer expectations.
  • Compile and analyze inventory data, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations to management.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring thorough investigations and resolutions.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address identified inventory defects.
  • Oversee inventory cycle counting schedules to meet customer service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with operations to identify and resolve inventory-related picking issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and effective time management.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other office-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with providing services in a third-party logistics environment.
  • Experience with warehouse management software is advantageous.
  • Certificate(s) or Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution and/or Transport & Logistics is preferred.
