Inventory Management Specialist

The Role
As an Inventory Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes. This is a permanent position working afternoon shift Monday to Friday, 11am – 7pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and meet customer expectations.
- Compile and analyze inventory data, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations to management.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring thorough investigations and resolutions.
- Develop and implement action plans to address identified inventory defects.
- Oversee inventory cycle counting schedules to meet customer service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with operations to identify and resolve inventory-related picking issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure.
- Excellent customer service orientation and effective time management.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and other office-based technologies.
- Familiarity with providing services in a third-party logistics environment.
- Experience with warehouse management software is advantageous.
- Certificate(s) or Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution and/or Transport & Logistics is preferred.
