Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to oversee all inventory management across our sites, ensuring quality control in various processes such as receipting, stocktaking, and more. This role will lead an inventory team, support lifecycle management, optimize returns processing, and manage excess and slow-moving inventory.

About You

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team that works closely with distribution centers to drive correct stock levels;
  • Working with stakeholders on inventory health activities from service improvement, supply issues, and service risk mitigation to inventory health improvement activities;
  • Partnering with Finance and Operations teams to ensure site inventory accuracy is maintained and in compliance with auditors and inventory policy;
  • Delivering contracted KPIs pertaining to inventory control;
  • Utilizing analytics to identify and liaise with stocking locations to centralize and share inventory;
  • Overseeing reconciliation of SAP and WMS (Blu Yonder);
  • Leading, communicating, coaching the team on-site, Inventory controllers in secondary warehouses on stock accuracy and quality;
  • Managing a team that supports identifying and investigation of all stock discrepancies and reporting;
  • Planning and executing annual stock take and cycle count process in collaboration with the business. Analyzing results and providing recommendations to improve inventory health.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain planning or inventory management, ideally in the medical devices or FMCG sectors;
  • Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (preferred);
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management and RF systems;
  • Experience with automated warehouse technologies is a significant advantage;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus;
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities;
  • Advanced conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team;
  • Strong leadership and people management skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
