Job Overview

The Case Manager Child Wellbeing Program is a key role within our organization, responsible for delivering professional and accountable program services in line with the service specifications.

This position will involve working closely with children, young people, and their families, as well as school teachers and project staff. The Case Manager will achieve the objectives of both programs by assisting those who access the service to identify goals that are achievable for the child or young person and support their role in their families' wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program strategies to meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Liaise with schools and other project partners to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on program outcomes and participant progress.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new program initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in a related field, such as social work, education, or youth work.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a case management or support capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Training in areas such as DRUMBEAT, RHYTHM 2 RECOVERY (R2R), Seasons for Growth, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in program delivery, including planning, coordination, and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of legislation and policies related to child protection, WHS, cultural diversity, and ethical practice.
