**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth in our wet hire and plant hire services. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the excavation industry, particularly with excavator hire, and a proven track record in business development and sales.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase revenue in wet hire and plant hire services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the excavation and earthmoving industry.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
• Represent Fuse Recruitment at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance our brand presence.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the excavation or construction industry, with a focus on wet hire and plant hire services.
  • In-depth knowledge of excavator hire and the operational requirements of excavation projects.
  • Strong network of contacts within the construction and infrastructure sectors in Melbourne.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
