Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Coordinator to support our philanthropic objectives by assisting in securing funding from trusts, foundations, and ancillary funds.

The successful candidate will work closely with a Trusts and Foundations Manager to develop high-quality grant submissions and proposals, researching prospective funders, managing grants, and coordinating donor stewardship activities including written reports, donor visits, and meetings with researchers to foster long-term relationships.

About You:

  • You will have highly developed engaging and professional communication skills with expertise in philanthropic grant submissions proposal development report writing and stakeholder management.
  • You will have a proven track record of success in securing philanthropic funding including expertise in prospecting researching cultivating and stewarding donor relationships through a relationship-building approach.
  • You will understand fundraising principles with a focus on structured giving and a keen insight into the motivations that drive philanthropic giving.
  • You will have strong networking and communication skills and a proven ability to develop productive results-focused relationships.
  • You will be able to demonstrate partnership development skills and ability to identify and secure new prospects.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate develop trust and maintain effective working relationships.
