Loan Settlement Specialist

The role involves working as part of a dedicated team responsible for the end-to-end home loan settlement process.
This includes document preparation, execution, settlement, same day funding or loan closure, home loan variations, and construction lending.
The team ensures a smooth transition to settlement for customers in accordance with process, policy, and procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in promoting a culture of exceptional service, teamwork, commitment to excellence, and professional ethics that drive team and organisational objectives.
- Review documents accurately and ensure they have been correctly completed in preparation for settlement, in accordance with customer needs, legal requirements, policy, and procedure.
- Process settlement workspaces, fund mortgages, and finalise collateral creation or discharge.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial services with exposure to operations; ideally, with a robust understanding of the settlement process.
- Knowledge of property settlement processes within Australian lending standards.
- Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards, acts, codes, and legislation.
- An organised style, ability to work at a fast pace individually and within a team to manage workflow efficiently.
- Commercial acumen, technical expertise, and high attention to detail.
