Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate plays a crucial role in our organisation, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients at a key account level.

The successful candidate will be driven to meet the needs of each client, ensuring they are continuing to build on our strong reputation as a client-focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, develop and strengthen relationships with assigned clients and key contacts at distributors, registries, fund managers and service providers.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient onboarding of new clients and the provision of new products to existing clients while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft and maintain an account plan for each client for the year ahead to retain and grow revenue.
Internal Interaction
  • Develop strong working relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Report and escalate issues to management in a timely manner.
  • Supply leads, introductions and recommendations to sales teams.
  • Communicate regularly with operations teams to understand operational issues affecting clients and supply new links for increased use of existing services.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of each client's relationship, connectivity method, history with us since go live as well as their own core business/role in the wider market.

Requirements
  • Ability to provide demonstrations for all live products and services within 3 months of commencing.
  • Ability to have meetings with clients without supervision within 3 months of commencing.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver good-quality presentations to customers as appropriate.
