Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This part-time role reports to the Sydney Airport Manager and involves:

  • Providing domestic and regional check-in services at Sydney Airport.
  • Handling reservation and ticket sales, including collection of monies.
  • Assisting with pre- and post-flight duties, including editing flights and completing sales reports.
  • Operating the aerobridge, computer systems (SABRE), and Departure Control System (DCS).
  • Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to special needs customers.
  • Marshalling passengers and resolving damaged or lost baggage inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Prior airline customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in GDS systems.
  • Able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card).
  • Ability to work shift work, including early starts, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Outstanding image and presentation.
  • High degree of computer literacy.
