Job Opportunity: Cultural Healthcare Specialist
As a Cultural Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families. This role involves providing culturally appropriate care, education, and training to promote health literacy and access to healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the development of culturally sensitive maternal and infant care services to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their families.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement educational resources that enhance health literacy and reduce health disparities among Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
- Participate in the delivery of cultural education and training programs to SCHHS staff to foster a culture of respect and understanding.
