The Clinical Care Specialist aims to deliver high-quality healthcare services while ensuring they are culturally respectful and tailored to the unique needs of the community.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care and comprehensive primary healthcare services
- Foster an environment of trust and understanding by integrating cultural beliefs and practices into patient care
- Promote holistic well-being, engage in health education, and build collaborative relationships to support the community's overall health and wellness
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal community-controlled health services and comprehensive primary healthcare. You should also have an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the social, economic, and cultural factors affecting the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Bachelor of Nursing (You must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and maintain your registration)
- Immunisation Endorsement, or be prepared to obtain immunisation endorsement
- A minimum of 12 months post-graduation experience within a hospital or primary healthcare setting
- An Open C Driver's License
- A Positive Blue Card
