Guest Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout the hotel.

Your role will involve supervising, directing, and supporting the reception team with their daily activities, knowledge, and development. You will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest complaints in a professional manner, and promoting hotel services and facilities.

About the Role:

  • Ensuring smooth check-in and check-out of guests in a timely manner
  • Delivering prompt and efficient service when attending to a variety of guest requests
  • Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction and operational requirements are achieved
  • Answering calls in a professional manner
  • Informing guests of all facilities and services in the hotel

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Dealing with guest complaints
  • Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster
  • Excellent grooming and presentation skills
  • A warm and friendly personality
  • Ensuring staff are adhering to policies and procedures as per the requirements of the Hotel Employment Guide
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
