**Quality Assurance Specialist Role Overview**
The Quality Inspection team is part of the greater Quality unit, encompassing Supplier Quality, Planning and Operations.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be based onsite full-time at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence in Brisbane, QLD.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Reporting to the Incoming Quality Inspection Manager, you will ensure product deliveries and documentation comply with specifications detailed in Purchase Orders, Drawings and technical documents.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your day-to-day tasks may include:
* Conducting incoming goods inspection of products and supplier documentation as per inspection plans, engineering drawings and product specifications using layout measuring equipment;
* Raising and coordinating detailed nonconformance reports for non-conforming product within ERP systems;
* Coordinating Material Review Board meetings to determine disposition of non-conforming product;
* Performing stock sorts to segregate non-conforming product; and
* Administration relating to inwards goods inspection.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
Applicants must possess experience in Quality Control / Inspection or a relevant position within manufacturing industries.
A suitable candidate will have qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quality or a relevant trade.
Proven experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings that include Geometric Dimension and Tolerance is essential.
Experience with using layout measurement equipment and familiarity with ERP Systems such as SAP is highly desirable.
The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment is necessary.
An Australian Government Security Clearance is required; applicants must hold Australian Citizenship.
