Job Title:

Process Transformation Leader

This role is accountable for end-to-end service management, change delivery, risk management and financials within the technology team. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring efficient and quality execution of major project activities.

  • The Process Transformation Leader will partner with senior stakeholders to drive and implement the technology strategy.
  • Actively manage the technology risk profile to ensure that activities remain within risk appetite.
  • Structure, plan and execute major project activities, ensuring on-budget/schedule delivery and full realisation of expected benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy and Planning:
    • Partner with senior stakeholders across Corporate Institutional Banking LOB and Group Tech to drive and implement the Technology strategy.
    • Ensure that architectural principles and roadmap for Corporate Institutional Banking Process Transformation are maintained through all planning and change activities.
  2. Risk Management:
    • Actively manage the technology risk profile ensuring the activities of the village remain within risk appetite and driving resolution of existing issues, risk and incidents.
    • In conjunction with Risk, identify risks associated with technology services, ensure they are captured in business risk maps and develop mitigating solutions with associated costs and benefits.
  3. Change Delivery:
    • Structure, plan and execute major project activities, ensuring efficient and quality execution, on-budget/schedule delivery and full realisation of expected benefits.
    • Serve as an escalation point for Technology Service Owners (squad leads).
  4. People Management:
    • Build a highly engaged workforce through role modelling Westpac's leadership standard and fostering the same standard of leadership down through the organisation.
    • Develop strategic workforce plans and develop village capability and a higher and more consistent standard of maturity in conjunction with the Head of Technology.
