Exciting Opportunity for a GRC Security Consultant

Green Light is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Security Consultant to enhance our Security delivery team. This role involves providing top-tier consultation to our established clientele while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to elevate the security maturity of various businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert guidance and analysis on information and cyber security to essential stakeholders.
  • Engage directly with clients, ensuring a 100% onsite presence to address their needs.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold security governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Manage Third Party Risk, formulate Incident Response Plans, conduct IS18 Assessments, create ISMS, perform Business Impact Assessments, and oversee Threat and Risk Management.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert, providing direction on security governance initiatives to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Advise on information assurance to align with business requirements.
  • Evaluate and analyze security incidents, escalating issues to the appropriate internal teams for further support.
  • Facilitate the implementation of designated security frameworks and associated procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in a comparable Security Consultant role.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver substantial security solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Technically versatile across various security platforms and technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management guidelines and frameworks, including ISO27005, ISO31000, OCTAVE, and NIST 800-30.
  • Extensive experience in risk assessment, security best practices, and the practical application of security controls in enterprise settings.
  • Proficient in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Review security documentation, projects, and deliverables from external service providers for security and quality assurance.
