Job Summary:
The Senior Assurance Officer will play a critical role in Comcare's Technology and Information Management Team, facilitating the development and implementation of organisational Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) equipment, services, and related policies to support the delivery of business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ICT outcomes specifically within the fields of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and the development and operation of related policy and procedure, providing assurance to Comcare that its information assets are appropriately protected.
- Establish, manage, review and administer Comcare's ICT GRC policy and procedures, ensuring both preventive and recovery strategies are in place.
- Manage the APS5 within the unit and supervise their day-to-day work.
- Develop overall direction and effort of the unit in conjunction with the ICT Assurance Manager.
Requirements:
- Mandatory requirement: Knowledge of Information Security terms and concepts.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
- Special Conditions: Some interstate travel may be required, including overnight absences.
