Our specialized team in Canberra focuses on advisory, internal audit, and risk management services tailored for government departments and agencies. We provide a wide range of advisory services, including national security, technology and cyber risk, fraud prevention, forensic analysis, procurement integrity, and program and project oversight.
We are currently in search of a Senior Consultant with a background in internal audit, risk management, or advisory services to enhance our Government and Advisory team. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and independent assurance services to various Government agencies. By collaborating with these agencies, we facilitate accurate assessments of their program performance, enabling informed strategic, policy, and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver strategic guidance on assurance, risk, governance, and compliance issues.
- Perform internal audits and risk assessments for our clients within the Commonwealth.
- Assess grant applications for Commonwealth funding, ensuring adherence to compliance and effectiveness.
- Examine cases of fraud or non-compliance thoroughly.
- Proven experience in Government Advisory, particularly in Internal Audit.
- Aspiring to pursue further qualifications in Internal Audit (IIA), Risk, or a CA qualification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in report writing for internal audits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Able to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
