Job Summary

Vectiq Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Program Risk Manager to join our team in the Federal Government department in the ACT. As a key member of our collaborative and highly motivated team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the analysis and evaluation of strategic and project risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to the analysis and evaluation of strategic and project risks against stated objectives and outcomes, ensuring effective risk management practices are implemented.
  • Identify, interpret, and analyze complex data using statistical techniques to inform risk-based decisions.
  • Provide high-quality and timely advice and reporting to Branch leadership and the Senior Executive cohort, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to influence and resolve issues, leveraging your expertise to drive positive outcomes.
  • Conduct frequent risk reviews and risk health checks to ensure ongoing risk management and mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective assessment and reporting tools to measure and monitor control and treatment effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.
  • Identify and report on issues, trends, and risks using best practice methodologies, ensuring proactive risk management and mitigation.
  • Establish, facilitate, and maintain strong internal and external relationships to foster collaboration and drive business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of plans and related documents and prepare reports, templates, and documentation in support of Gateway Reviews and other auditing activities.
  • Make and communicate decisions using good judgment, expertise, and knowledge, governed by legislation, regulations, best practice principles, or relevant operating instructions and procedures.
  • Facilitate risk assessments and workshops to engage stakeholders and drive risk-based decision-making.
